More and more threads coming in to the studio, more and more thread assortments brought to you.

The Pure Palette offers a silk fiber called Baroque which has a perfect blend of earthiness and an intensity of pigment, making it one of my favorite silks to use. I've chosen 12 Baroques which play off of a Watercolour, 2 such combinations in each acrylic box. 24 silk skeins and 2 Watercolour overdyes are a great buy for $112. Shop HERE.

I have also put together more of the interesting combinations of silks of different textures and weights. Here you have a grouping of Thread Gatherer, Waterlilies, Planet Earth, Baroque, Gumnut, Vineyards and more! The colors combine with two Watercolours and a metallic. my new design - IKAT.

Done on Congress Cloth with beautiful silk fibers, this design is my interpretation of the dyeing and weaving technique called Ikat. The design comes in two colorways, incorporates beautiful silks, beads and memory wire. The result is both elegant and ethnic, intricate and strong. The "Ikat" kit includes your piece of Congress Cloth, (in green or tan), the rich silk fibers, the Delica beads, the wire and the wonderful sequins used in framing the design. The instruction guide is very detailed and has an abundance of diagrams and charts, including the wonderful laminated Master Chart.
